How long does it take to install IAS?
Allow 1 day for installation. Smaller vehicles are generally faster; larger vehicles are generally slower. The key time-consuming steps are 1) determining component locations; 2) installing a plant power line(s); 3) routing cabling; 4) connecting the alert trigger; and 5) creating appropriate warning and critical zones.
Do IAS cameras need calibration?
No. IAS cameras only require positioning (i.e. physically looking at the relevant area) and configuring the desired zones in software. This is done during installation.
How is IAS configured?
IAS is configured by the installer during installation using the configuration tool. IAS can be remotely reconfigured over 4G if required.
Does IAS damage vehicles?
No. IAS installation (and removal) generally does not damage the vehicle.
Can IAS be removed?
Yes. IAS can be removed (and reinstalled elsewhere), generally without damage.
Can customers install IAS?
No. IAS should only be installed by trained and certified IAS installers.
