Do IAS detections and alerts work without reporting?
Yes. The IAS detections and alerts on the vehicle are independent of the reporting.
How long does it take for a detection to appear in reporting?
It depends on connectivity. If there is sufficient connectivity, the detection will appear within minutes. If there is no connectivity, the detection will be stored on the device until a connection is available.
Why is my detection video fast?
This is deliberate. IAS detection snapshots are 5 seconds before the detection and 15 seconds after the detection, all accelerated to 5 seconds (i.e. 4x speed). It allows users to more quickly review detections.
Can I only filter to only see certain days/critical detections/extreme risks?
Yes. IAS has filters for all key meta data.
How is risk calculated?
The risk level is calculated for critical people detections. It is a combination of distance, rate of closure between the vehicle and person, and attention, which is based on face, body, and pose. It is presented as Unknown, Safe, Moderate, and High.
How do I review a detection?
IAS review has 5 states. A reviewer can select 1 of 4 options.
Not reviewed is the default.
AI error means that there is an AI issue, such as a false positive. This reports the detection to Presien for investigation.
Safe means that although the detection is valid, the reviewer deems the detection to be safe, or sufficiently low risk that it can be ignored.
Moderate means that the reviewer deems the detection to be of moderate risk.
High means that the reviewer deems the detection to be of high risk.
Can I get notifications of certain events?
Yes. IAS reporting can send emails and/or other notifications for certain events. For example, a daily email summarising critical detections with a link directly to the relevant detections in reporting.
Can I see who reviewed certain detections and when?
Yes. IAS logs who reviewed detections and when.
Can I delete a detection?
No. Normal users cannot delete a detection. This is to ensure that detection videos used in potential health and safety incidents cannot be lost.
